Katie graduated as a Chartered Physio in 2004 working as a junior Physio at Leighton Hospital in Crewe before specialising in paediatrics at Royal Manchester Children's Hsopital and Alder Hey Children's Hospital treating a variety of complex orthopaedic, neuro, trauma, oncology and intensive care patients.
In 2010 Katie completed a Masters degree at The Royal Veterinary College in London that enabled her to transfer her existing skills and experience over to veterinary medicine, and has been seeing physiotherapy patients from all over the north west at Cheshire Pet since then.
Katie now spends most of her clinical time at Cheshire Pet seeing everything from guinea pigs to bernese mountain dogs and every species in between for a wide variety of conditions both on land and in Hydrotherapy. Alongside clinical work, Katie also teaches at the University of Liverpool Vet School teaching Chartered Physios on their MSc Vet Physio programme, and often has students with her at Cheshire Pet.
On the rare occasion that Katie isn't working, she can be found on the beach with her 14-year-old rescue Springer Spaniel Alfie, with her 4 horses, cycling the length and breadth of the county, or singing somewhere in Knutsford with Knutsford Star Choir and Knutsford Beats!
